Employment Services
Our goal is to assist students to get the job they want. To help us do that we have established Southbank CareerHub, an online job seeking tool connecting students with leading local, national and international employers.
Southbank CareerHub allows these employers to lodge their vacancies online so they are instantly accessible to Southbank Institute's students.
Student Employment sources employment opportunities for all students across every area of study offered at Southbank. Employers appreciate our high standard of qualifications and for that reason advertise their vacant positions with Southbank CareerHub, exclusive to our students.
Student and graduate applicants for advertised positions on Southbank CareerHub, can seek advice and assistance from the Employment Team. We provide feedback and comments on resumes, application letters and selection criteria by email.
Additionally, the Southbank CareerHub contains a great deal of Career and Employment information - information to help while studying and when entering the job market. We also provide lots of useful links to professional associations and other employment related sites.
Student Employment offers free employment and career workshops to current students throughout the year. Topics include resume writing, interview techniques and selection criteria. Students are able to book into these workshops by contacting student.employment@southbank.edu.au.
