ブリスベンは親しみやすい街です。クィーンズランド州の亜熱帯地区に位置し、周りをグレート･ディバイディング･レンジや自然森林や滝や海岸線に囲まれています。
また、ゴールドコーストやサンシャインコーストなど州の素晴らしい観光地が近くにたくさんあります。
グレート･バリア･リーフは世界最大で大変複雑な礁体系を持っています。沿岸沿いにありブリスベンから北へ車ですぐの距離です。礁は広大で月からも見ることができます。
