Academic English
The Academic English courses offered by Southbank Institute are designed to help you gain English language and academic skills required for tertiary study in Australia.
Successful completion of our academic English courses can help you enter many Australian universities, TAFE or vocational colleges without the need to sit an IELTS or TOEFL test.
These courses cover necessary language and literacy skills such as listening, note taking, oral presentations, essay and report planning and writing, academic listening research and analysis, and referencing to prepare you for tertiary study.

English for employment
Our English for employment courses have been developed to help students develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to prepare for the Australian job market.
General English and advanced English for employment courses are offered by Southbank Institute for students whose English skills are already good but need training and support to help find a great job. Evening classes are available in advanced English if you're already employed and looking to improve your English skills.

To enrol in an Academic English or English for Employment course please contact us our call 07 3244 5561 between 9.00 AM and 4.00 PM, Monday to Friday. We will arrange a time to evaluate your English needs and help you with your application.
