Warren Tapp - Chair

As the Chair of the Board at Southbank Institute of Technology, Warren has extensive experience as a Company Director. Over the last 20 years he has been the Chairman of seven Boards and a Director of many other companies. He also conducted his own corporate governance consulting business for many years assisting Boards around Australia and overseas including various TAFE organisations.
Prior to that, he was a Director of the Consulting divisions of major Accounting firms across a wide range of industries. Warren was also a facilitator on the AICD Company Directors course for 10 years and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has an interest in, and an understanding of, the higher education sector and is enjoying making a contribution to good corporate governance at the Southbank Institute of Technology. His qualifications include an MBA and Master of Laws as well as a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance.
Warren is an ex officio member of all the Board committees at SBIT.
