Botanic Gardens, Brisbane - Image courtesy of Tourism QldBrisbane is a welcoming city. It is located within sub-tropical Queensland and is directly surrounded by the Great Dividing Range, natural forests, waterfallsand coastline.

Brisbane is also close to many of Queensland's finest tourist destinations including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

The Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest and most complex reef system, begins off the coast, only a short drive north of Brisbane. The reef is so big it is visible from the moon.

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park The Great Barrier Reef is undisputed as one of the world’s most important natural assets. It is the largest natural feature on earth stretching more than 2300 kilometres along the northeast coast of Australia from the northern tip of Queensland to just north of Bundaberg.
Gold Coast The Gold Coast is approximately an hour's drive south of Brisbane. It has beautiful swimming beaches and lots of entertainment opportunities.
Sunshine Coast The Sunshine Coast is approximately an hour and a half to two hours drive north of Brisbane. The beaches of the Sunshine Coast are made for swimming and are perfect for lazing around on.
